Britney Spears gets restraining order against former friend - 10TV

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Britney Spears was granted a temporary restraining order Wednesday against a former confidante who she says has been harassing her family again.

A judge ordered 44-year-old Sam Lutfi, who has been in legal fights with the Spears family for a decade, to stay at least 200 yards from her, her parents and her two sons, who are 12 and 13.

The judge also ordered that he not contact or disparage anyone from the family.

The restraining order petition alleges Lutfi has been sending harassing and threatening texts to Spears' family and disparaging them on social media.

"Mr. Lutfi's actions have caused severe mental trauma at a time where Ms. Spears is recovering from stress related to her father's health and her work," the documents state. "Mr. Lutfi's unjustified interference in her life ... threaten Ms. Spears safety and well-being."

In January, Spears put her career on indefinite hiatus and delayed the start of a Las Vegas residency so she could focus on her ailing father.

Lutfi said he had not made contact with Spears since 2009, when a previous restraining order against him was granted to Spears.

"We are disappointed at the outcome," Lutfi's attorney Marc Gans said in a statement about the restraining order. "I think it is overly broad and violates Mr. Lutfi's constitutional rights."

The order was granted until a May 28 court hearing on the matter.

"This is a temporary order, and we look forward to coming back," Gains said.

Lutfi was a major presence in Spears' life at the height of her fame, and had claimed he was her manager in the years leading up to a public meltdown in 2008.

Her troubles led to the establishment of a court-ordered conservatorship, which allowed her father, Jamie, and attorneys to run her affairs and remains in effect a decade later. A court hearing on the arrangement is scheduled for Friday, and a judge ruled late Wednesday that a lawyer for Britney's mother and Jamie's ex-wife Lynne Spears could be part of the proceeding. Lynne Spears has not previously been involved in her daughter's conservatorship.

The restraining order granted Wednesday also alleged that Lutfi has sought to undermine the conservatorship.

Lutfi sued the Spears family in 2009, alleging Britney Spears had breached a contract with him, Jamie Spears had punched him and Lynne Spears had defamed him in a memoir.

A judge threw out the lawsuit in 2012, another judge later restored it on appeal, and it was settled in 2016.

Royal baby: Duke and Duchess of Sussex share first glimpse of son - BBC News

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have named their newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Introducing him to the cameras earlier in the day, Meghan said: "He has the sweetest temperament, he's really calm. He's been the dream."

As they laughed, Prince Harry said: "I don't know who he gets that from."

The announcement came after the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh met their eighth and newest great-grandchild for the first time at Windsor Castle.

By deciding to call their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, Harry and Meghan have chosen not to use a title for their first born.

As the first born son of a duke, Archie could have become Earl of Dumbarton - one of Harry's subsidiary titles - or have been Lord Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, but instead he will simply be Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

BBC royal correspondent Jonny Dymond said it was a "strong indication that they don't want to bring him up very 'royal'".

Talking about their first few days as parents, Meghan said: "It's magic, it's pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I'm really happy."

The duke added: "It's great. Parenting is amazing.

"It's only been two and a half days, three days, but we're just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy."

On which parent the baby resembled more, Harry said: "Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks.

"We're basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows."

Later, asked to show more of their son's face to the cameras, Meghan laughed as Harry joked: "He's already got a little bit of facial hair as well, wonderful."

Meghan added: "Thank you everybody for all the well-wishes and kindness, it just means so much."

Pictures of the new family's first photocall were then shared on the SussexRoyal Instagram account.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share their first public moment as a family," the post said.

The images shared on social media were taken by Chris Allerton, who was the couple's private wedding party photographer, and took the picture of the newlyweds watching fireworks in the grounds of Frogmore House at their evening reception.

The infant, who is seventh in line to the throne, was delivered at 05:26 BST on Monday, with Harry saying after the birth that he and Meghan were "absolutely thrilled".

The Duke of Cambridge has welcomed his brother to "the sleep deprivation society that is parenting".

Prince William - a father-of-three - said he looked forward to seeing the new parents "when things have quietened down".

The Prince of Wales has also expressed his joy at the birth.

During an official visit to Germany with the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles said: "We couldn't be more delighted at the news and we're looking forward to meeting the baby when we return."

A statement added that Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, was "overjoyed at the arrival of her first grandchild" and was with her daughter at Frogmore Cottage - the new parents' home on the Windsor Estate.

'Sleeping soundly'

By BBC News correspondent Helena Wilkinson

As settings for first family photographs go this was rather more grand than most, to say the least - St. George's Hall in Windsor Castle is a room used for state banquets.

But for Meghan and Harry it is a special room already filled with memories - it was where they held their wedding reception last year. Today they created new ones.

Wrapped in a white shawl and hat, baby Sussex was oblivious to it all, sleeping soundly in his father's arms.

As soon as the pictures of the newborn emerged news crews outside the castle beamed them live across the world.

This two-day baby may only be seventh in line to the throne but interest in him is huge.

Something his parents, who guard their privacy closely, will be very aware of.

Buckingham Palace said Harry was present for the birth, which is understood to have taken place in hospital as opposed to at home.

The baby will not automatically become a prince - although he could get that title if the Queen steps in.

Harry and Meghan might otherwise want him to inherit one of Harry's titles, such as Earl of Dumbarton, or they could reject any royal title at all.

The baby weighed 7lbs 3oz (3.2kg), making him lighter than each of his cousins.

Prince George was 8lb 6oz (3.8kg) when he was born in July 2013. His sister Princess Charlotte was 8lbs 3oz (3.7kg) when she arrived in May 2015, while their younger brother Prince Louis weighed 8lb 7oz (3.8kg) when he was born in April last year.

The average weight of a baby in the UK is about 7lb 7oz (3.4kg).

'Teen Mom 2': How Jenelle Evans Is Reportedly Reacting to Being Fired from the Show - The Cheat Sheet

David Eason was already removed from filming Teen Mom 2. Now his wife, Jenelle Evans will reportedly no longer be allowed to film. How is she taking the news? These are the rumored reactions from the reality star.

Jenelle Evans’ husband, David Eason admitted to killing her dog

The couple shocked many when Eason revealed that he shot Evans’ dog, Nugget. He claimed it was because the dog snapped at their 2-year-old daughter, Ensley. Eason defended his actions in an Instagram video.

I dont [sic] give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” he said according to Us Weekly. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont [sic] put up with that sh*t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes [sic] mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”

He also showed a red mark on his toddler’s cheek. Evans posted a picture with the dog on Instagram and wrote a tribute in the caption.

It reads, “Nugget… I’m crying everyday. I love you so much and I’m so sorry. I’m speechless. You were my side kick and knew the moment I felt bad and would cuddle with me. You still had a lot to learn and a lot to grow from your lessons. Everyday I wake up you’re not here, when I come home you’re not here, when I go to bed… you’re not here. You’re gone forever and there’s no coming back. #Heartbroken #Distraught.”

MTV announced it will no longer film Evans

The network announced that it will no longer film the reality star. “MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2with him since,” a MTV spokesperson told Us Weekly. “Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office and Columbus County Animal Control have reportedly launched a joint investigation into what happened to Nugget.

Evans was reportedly shocked by the announcement

The firing reportedly was announced before anyone notified the reality star. This is rumored to be a big part of her reaction to the news.

Jenelle was shocked and is really upset,” a source told Us Weekly. “The decision was given to her suddenly after a lot of back and forth with MTV.”

That’s not the only thing a source has said about Evans’ rumored reaction to the news.

A source claimed “she [isn’t] going to stop”

There is a rumor that the reality star wasn’t notified about her firing before MTV made its announcement. Her reaction is reportedly based on being blindsided.

She is focusing on what’s best for her and the kids. MTV made the statement before letting her know,” a source told E! News. The source also claimed Evans “was crying when she found out about being fired.”

The reality star might have plans for the future. “This isn’t the last you’re going to hear from Jenelle. She [isn’t] going to stop,” the source continued.

Jenelle Evans and David Eason have yet to make a public statement about MTV’s decision. The rest of the cast of Teen Mom 2 are reacting on social media to the news.

Vampire Weekend & HAIM Play 2 Songs On 'Fallon': Watch - Stereogum

Vampire Weekend are good at their jobs. Last weekend, the band came back from a six-year absence with the lush, expansive new album Father Of The Bride, one of those rare albums that’s fun to listen to and fun to argue about. And now that their machinery has rumbled back to live, Vampire Weekend are back on the promo tour. Last night, they served as musical guests on The Tonight Show — their first televised performance in five years. And as it turns out, they are still excellent at playing their songs while they’ve got TV cameras pointed at them.

The Vampire Weekend that played last night’s Tonight Show was, of course, a whole lot different from the five-years-ago edition. Rostam Batmanglij is no longer on board, and now Vampire Weekend have a massive touring band with a bunch of extra musicians. But Ezra Koenig remains one of the most charismatic, expressive rock frontmen that this century has produced, and his arched-eyebrow panache has not dimmed one tiny bit in all those years away.

On last night’s show, the band played the ruminative Father Of The Bride single “This Life.” Danielle Haim sang on a few Father Of The Bride songs, and she and her sisters and HAIM bandmates stood in as backup singers. (They also recently joined Vampire Weekend at the band’s seven-hour New York show.) The Haim sisters did choreographed dance steps and seem delighted to be there, and the song sounds pretty glorious live. And as an online bonus, Vampire Weekend also played the Father Of The Bride closer “Jerusalem, New York, Berlin.” That song is a Danielle Haim duet, so she sang lead with Koenig, and the band really drew out the quiet groove. Both performances are total must-see events, and you can watch them both below.

Father Of The Bride is out 5/3 on Spring Snow/Columbia. Read our Cover Story feature on Vampire Weekend here. Also, Amy Poehler was a guest on last night’s Tonight Show, so let’s all have fun imagining her reuniting with her Parks & Recreation costar Rashida Jones, Koenig’s partner, in the green room. And in other news, Ezra Koenig and his Time Crisis co-host Jake Longstreth are the guests on the latest episode of Adam Scott and Scott Aukerman’s widely beloved podcast R. U. Talkin’ R.E.M. RE: ME? You can listen to that here:
