Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones kick off North American tour - CBS News
An energetic Mick Jagger skipped, spun, sprinted and pranced Friday night as the Rolling Stones launched their North American tour at Chicago's Soldier Field. The 75-year-old showed no sign of ill health three months after the tour was postponed because a doctor said he required medical treatment.
By all visible indications: Jagger was Jagger.
Before a sold-out crowd of around 60,000 at the Chicago Bears home stadium, the band's finger-wagging frontman opened with "Street Fighting Man," running from the stage in the end zone area and down a narrow stage jutting into the crowd on what is normally the 30-yard line of the football field.
He didn't say he was speaking about his health, but could have been as Jagger looked out at the audience and shouted, "It feels pretty good!" In an interview with Toronto radio station Q107 earlier this month, Jagger said he is "feeling good." He reportedly underwent heart surgery in March.
A cross-section of fans, from ages 18 to 80, swayed and bobbed as they roared the lyrics in unison to the finale of one of the over 50-year-old band's favorites, singing, "Let's Spend the Night Together."
Jagger sang for over two hours on a massive stage, with the city's skyline as his backdrop, and seemed no worse for the wear. As he bowed, fireworks exploded overhead.
The No Filter Tour was slated to start April 20 in Miami before doctors told Jagger in late March he required treatment, reportedly for a heart valve issue.
Jagger went out of his way to pay homage to Chicago, a home of the blues and long considered an artistic inspiration by the band. He tipped a hat to the Chicago blues with the edgy "Midnight Rambler," which featured Jagger himself on harmonica.
"We love Chicago so much we decided to start the tour here instead of Miami," Jagger said, to cheers from the crowd. He also gave a shout out to the new mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot.
The band stuck almost entirely to playing old classics, the set including "Let's Spend the Night Together," ''Gimme Shelter," ''Brown Sugar," ''Sympathy for the Devil" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
All the Stones are now in their 70s. Guitarist Keith Richards is also 75. Ronnie Wood, who plays guitar as well, is 72. Drummer Charlie Watts is the senior member at 78. And they seemed as enthusiastic as Jagger, and also showed no indication of slowing as the show stretched beyond two hours.
All the cities on the tour that were previously postponed are locked in, and there's a new date in New Orleans. A second show at Soldier Field, the home stadium of the Chicago Bears, is scheduled for Tuesday.
The coast-to-coast tour, which the Stones have said will feature classic hits, will include stops in Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, Washington, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Washington, D.C. Tickets sold for the original dates are being honored, but those who couldn't attend were able to get refunds by accessing their Ticketmaster accounts.

Ryan Reynolds Hugs Pregnant Wife Blake Lively As She Visits Him On Movie Set - Hollywood Life
Lovebirds! Ryan Reynolds is filming his new movie in Boston and his pregnant wife Blake Lively headed north from their home in New York for a set visit and a sweet hug from her man.
Absence has definitely made the heart grow fonder for Ryan Reynolds and his pregnant wife Blake Lively. The 42-year-old has been filming his new movie Free Guy in Boston and she surprised him with an on set visit on June 22. In an Instagram stories pic the Canadian hunk seen in front of a collegiate looking building holding Blake in his arms with a huge hug. She has her head planted into his chest with a huge smile on her face as Ryan looks at the camera with a big grin. He wrote “Great Scott” on the photo with a professorial looking emoji bouncing up and down.
Blake looked beautiful in a sleeveless dark sun dress that went down to just above her knees. She’s well into her second trimester so the 31-year-old kept her footwear sensible and comfortable in a pair of white sneakers. With the flowy dress it was hard to see the outline of her baby bump, but it’s definitely there. She was sporting a huge baby belly as the couple strolled through New York City on June 19 with their daughters James, 4, and Inez, 2, in tow.
This will be baby number three for Blake and Ryan, and she debuted their pregnancy news in a big way. She attended the May 2 premiere of the Detective Pikachu animated movie that Ryan provided the voice for and her tight yellow dress revealed a very pregnant baby belly. The couple has been highly private when it’s comes to the last two times they were expecting so it was a refreshing way for her to just get the news out there to the world that they had baby joy to celebrate.
In addition to Ryan’s visit from Blake, he got to meet two of his new film’s co-stars for the first time, Stranger Things‘ Joe Keery and Pitch Perfect’s Utkarsh Ambudkar. He posted an Instagram pic in front of the Boston Flower Market with his hands around their shoulders and captioned it “First day working with Joe Keery and Utkarsh Ambudkar. My arms feel so safe, draped loosely across their powerful shoulders.👕 (special cameo by Thelma the dog)” Ryan stars in the 2020 action-comedy as a bank teller who discovers he’s trapped inside a violent video game.

The photo apparently was from the family's birthday celebration for Riley, which took place at the end of May. Presley also posted a video that showed Riley getting emotional because of a gift the twins gave her.
"Surprise Bday present from me and the girls was to record Riley and mines song (tiny dancer by @eltonofficial) which was emotional enough. The bigger surprise was when the chorus kicks in of her sisters w me. Video of her Raw reaction. Hope you enjoy watching!" Presley captioned.

Lisa Marie Presley shares family photo with all four of her kids - Page Six
Lisa Marie Presley is one proud mama.
On Thursday, Presley shared a black-and-white photo of her posing with her four children, including daughter and “The Girlfriend Experience” star Riley Keough, 30, son Benjamin Keough, 26, and 10-year-old twin girls, Finley and Harper Lockwood.
“Mama Lion with cubs,” she captioned the sweet snap on Instagram, adding a lion emoji and several colorful hearts.
While the image has already garnered more than 24,000 likes from fans, some followers commented on how much Benjamin looks like his grandfather, the late Elvis Presley.
“Son does look like granddad,” one fan penned.
“Is that your son? Wow, he looks just like your dad,” another replied.
The photograph also appears to be from Riley’s birthday celebration last month, as the actress, who turned 30 on May 29, and her younger siblings are seen in similar clothing in a separate clip posted to Presley’s page.
“@rileykeough surprise Bday present from me and the girls was to record Riley and mines song together (tiny dancer by @Elton john of course) which was emotional enough,” Presley, 51, wrote. “But the bigger surprise was when the chorus kicks in of her sisters singing w me.”

‘Toy Story 4’ Opens Below Box Office Expectations, Yet Still Soars - TheWrap
This weekend’s box office is all about Disney/Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” which opened on 4,575 screens to $47 million on Friday and is now expected to earn an opening weekend of $120-125 million, according to industry estimates.
While that’s below the $140 million projected by Disney before the weekend and well behind the animation record $182 million set by “Incredibles 2” last year, that figure would still stand as the third highest opening weekend of 2019 so far. It will also stand as either the third or fourth largest opening ever for an animated feature, depending on whether it takes the No. 3 spot from “Shrek the Third,” which opened to $121 million in 2007.

It’s also worth noting that the final opening weekend figure could be a few notches higher than current estimates, as Saturday and Sunday matinees could perform above current expectations thanks to the film’s sterling word of mouth. “Toy Story 4” has received near-unanimous praise from critics and audiences with a 98% Rotten Tomatoes score and an A on CinemaScore, matching the reception received in 2010 by “Toy Story 3,” which opened to $110 million.
With “Toy Story 4” estimated to account for 60% of all box office business this weekend, Orion/United Artists’ “Child’s Play” sits in a very distant second, grossing $6 million on Friday from 3,007 screens. It is currently estimated to open on the lower end of studio projections with $15-16 million.

The marketing for this horror reboot embraced its status as counter-programming to “Toy Story,” with spoof posters showing the killer doll Chucky killing off Woody and several of his fellow toys. The film is the first in the series done without creator Don Mancini or original Chucky voice actor Brad Dourif, but has received the highest Rotten Tomatoes score of any theatrically released installments since the 1988 original with 60% from critics. Audiences, however, weren’t impressed and gave it a C+.
In third is Disney’s “Aladdin” with $14 million in its fifth weekend, giving it a domestic total of $289 million. Completing the top five are Universal/Illumination’s “The Secret Life of Pets 2” and Sony’s “Men In Black: International,” both of which are currently estimated to earn $10.5 million this weekend. For “Pets 2,” the domestic total now stands at $117 million after three weekends, while “MIB: International” is falling 65% from its franchise-low $30 million weekend.
