Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter have been spending time with Miley’s mum Tish in the wake of her split from Liam Hemsworth.

The pair are said to be supporting each other through their recent break-ups, as Kaitlynn has also split from husband Brody Jenner.

Tish got in on the act when she met up with them both in West Hollywood on Saturday.

The three of them were spotted together in a car, with Miley and Tish in the front and Kaitlynn in the back.

Miley and Tish, who was wearing large dark sunglasses, appeared to have a chat in the vehicle with the 26-year-old listening intently to her mum’s words.

The Nothing Breaks Like A Heart singer wore her hair loose and seemed to be wearing minimal makeup.

Everyone seemed relaxed in each other’s company as they all hopped out of the car together for lunch.

Kaitlynn opted for a summery outfit, teaming a white T-shirt with a pink spotty skirt.

Miley and Kailtlynn, 30, who were spotted kissing on an Italian holiday after it was confirmed she and Liam had split, are reportedly ‘enjoying their time together’.

A source told Entertainment Tonight: ‘Really, only time will tell if Miley and Kaitlynn will last, but right now they are being a support for one another during a tough time and enjoying their time together.’

News of Miley and Liam’s split broke earlier this month, with reps for the pair telling People: ‘Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time.

‘Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.’

The Wrecking Ball star was later seen locking lips with Kaitlynn, who split from husband Brody after a year of marriage.

Meanwhile Brody and Kaitlynn are clearly still very close as he recently came to his ex-wife’s defence.

In a statement posted to Instagram, The Hills: New Beginning star said: ‘There is far too much negativity being directed at someone who I love and care about very much.

‘Kaitlynn and I have been best friends for six years, and we continue to be.’

Miley and Liam met in 2009 on the set of Nicholas Sparks’ The Last Song before Aussie actor Liam proposed in 2012.

A split followed a year later, but they got back together in 2015, marrying at their home in Tennessee last year.

The middle Jonas Bro rang in the big 3-0 in style this week by embracing the James Bond aesthetic with his wife, Sophie Turner, right there by his side to bring it to fruition. Joe walked out of their NYC apartment Friday night -- a day after his actual birthday -- wearing a very Bond-esq white tux, and hit the point home by hopping into an Aston Martin.

Yep, 007 would absolutely approve -- the Aston Martin is the character's signature car, and Bond has donned the white suit many times over the course of his movie spy career.

Joe and Sophie rolled up to Cipriani, where they were met with the James Bond theme song ... seems like everyone was in on the Bond shtick for the night. BTW, Nick and Kevin were there too with their respective wives ... so it was a Jonas family affair.

Anyway, the waiting crowd outside certainly seemed to love the spectacle, and frankly ... so do we. Happy birthday, JJ -- from TMZ, with love.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not come to play at Joe Jonas’s 30th birthday party on Friday night. The couple attended the middle Jonas brother’s James Bond-themed birthday celebration at Cipriani in New York City last night, and they dressed to impress. Chopra stepped out in a short, black feathered dress, pairing it with a set of earrings by Walters Faith. As for Jonas, he did his best 007 in a black tuxedo.

Chopra has been busy spending time with her new family this summer. Earlier this month she joined her husband, along with Joe Jonas and his new wife Sophie Turner, for a little family vacation in Miami. She’s also posted photos to her Instagram of her with her “J-Sisters,” Sophie and Kevin Jonas’s wife Danielle, as well as Danielle’s children.

“The #jsisters for life,” she captioned one photo of the women posing in front of a custom J-sisters backdrop.

She later posted a photo of her, Jonas, and the crew working on the Jonas Brothers’s tour during a stop in Miami, congratulating the brothers on their sold-out shows.

“Family,” she wrote. “#HappinessBegins sold out tour!! Crushed it! So proud of u guys!”

Married life appears to be going well for Chopra and Jonas. The actress recently opened up to People about her husband while visiting Beautycon in Los Angeles.

“He likes a bit of both,” Chopra said of her husband on his preferred makeup looks on her, adding that “there are days when he likes a really natural thing. He’s an appreciator. He’s someone who can appreciate both things.”

Jane Fonda is paying tribute to her late brother, Peter Fonda.

The 81-year-old actress released a statement on Friday following the news of his death.

She told Variety: “I am very sad. He was my sweet-hearted baby brother. The talker of the family."

Peter, a fellow actor who co-wrote and starred in the seminal 1960s counterculture film "Easy Rider," was 79 when he died on Friday morning at his Los Angeles home after suffering respiratory failure due to lung cancer.

In a statement obtained by Fox News, Fonda's family said -- “In one of the saddest moments of our lives, we are not able to find the appropriate words to express the pain in our hearts. As we grieve, we ask that you respect our privacy."

Miley Cyrus releases break-up song 'Slide Away' - CNN

"Slide Away" features lyrics that many are taking to being about the couple, who recently announced they have separated after less than a year of marriage.

"Move on, we're not 17 / I'm not who I used to be / You said that everything changed / You're right we're grown now," Cyrus sings.

Cyrus, 26, and Hemsworth, 29, met in 2009 on the set of "The Last Song."

They dated and were on-again, off-again for years before he proposed in 2012.

That engagement ended, but they reunited in 2015 and married in December 2018.

The new song begins with Cyrus singing "Once upon a time it was paradise / Once upon a time I was paralyzed / I think I'm gonna miss these harbor lights / But it's time to let it go."

She also sings "Once upon a time it was made for us, woke up one day and it turned to dust / Baby, we were found, but now we're lost / So it's time to let it go."

The chorus says "So won't you slide away / Back to the ocean / I'll go back to the city life."

The couple had lived in a house in Malibu that they were rebuilding after the Woolsey fire last year.

Twitter has been dissecting the lyrics since the single was dropped early Friday.

"Wow.. so when miley said once upon a time it was made for us, woke up one day and it turned to dust she was talking about her house being destroyed by wildfires," one person tweeted.

It’s been a whirlwind week for the former couple. Not long after news of their split went public, Cyrus was spotted kissing Brody Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter.

Cyrus herself appeared to hint at the split in a tweet Sunday, captioning two photos, “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed.”
