"The Price Is Right" host tweeted on Monday what appeared to be a holiday image of him and Harwick sitting on a throne next to a Christmas tree with animated polar bears surrounding them.
"I hope you're lucky enough to have someone in your life that loves as much as she did," Carey wrote in the tweet.
Harwick, 38, was found unresponsive and "gravely injured" beneath a third-story balcony at her home early Saturday morning, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The LAPD said officers were responding to reports of a "woman screaming" in the Hollywood Hills neighborhood where Harwick lived when they found her.
Police said her injuries were consistent with a fall and she was transported to a local hospital where she died. Officers found possible evidence of a struggle in Harwick's home as well as forced entry, the LAPD said.
Harwick's ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse, 41, was arrested Saturday afternoon in connection with the case and is being held on a $2 million bail, according to jail records.
Police said Harwick had recently expressed fear for her safety due to a former boyfriend and had previously filed a restraining order against him.
Harwick was a well-known therapist in West Hollywood, specializing in family and sex counseling. She regularly appeared on podcasts, TV and her YouTube channel to discuss her work.
Carey, 61, was engaged to Harwick in 2018, but the couple broke up less than a year later.
"Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime," Carey said in a statement to People magazine. "She was positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overcome with grief. I would like to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy while we try to work through this tragic situation."
Ozzy says: “I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I've had a shit year. Unfortunately, I won't be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six to eight weeks.
“I don't want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it's just not fair to the fans. I'd rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.”
In the piece, Ozzy also said he was “75% back to normal” after his 2019 health woes and added: “It’s been a pretty incredible, interesting career. People have written me off time and time again, but I kept coming back and I’m going to come back from this.
“When? I don’t know. I don’t want to go back out there until I’m ready.”
Ozzy will release his new studio album Ordinary Man on Friday through Epic Records and will hold a "worldwide tattoo event" to celebrate the launch.
He’s also teased the track Eat Me with a short video clip which can be seen below.

Mama June and her boyfriend have left the state of Georgia and are feeling golden ... as in, craving some grub from Golden Corral.
June and Geno Doak were spotted at the buffet chain restaurant midday Monday in Port St. Lucie, Florida ... about 110 miles north of Miami. We're told the couple showed up at the GC with about 25 other people, but the large group's affiliation was unclear.
Folks at the restaurant tell us Mama and Geno were left to enjoy their lunch in peace -- though patrons knew they were in the company of the troubled reality star and her BF, nobody bothered them.
The Florida sighting's interesting because when we last heard of June's whereabouts she was pawning a diamond ring in Stockbridge, GA in January ... and she and Geno were hotel hopping in Georgia before that.
As we reported ... June posted she's "back at it" a few weeks ago on Instagram, adding that she misses and loves her kids. Her family didn't really buy it at the time, and as we told you ... June's not an active participant in WE tv's upcoming show, "Mama June From Not To Hot: Family Crisis."
Obviously, June still hasn't parted ways with Geno like her family has been hoping, but on the bright side ... at least they're eating well. Those buffets have it all.
There are hot takes and then there are not takes, and Wendy Williams has once again found herself on the receiving end of criticism after appearing to take it way too far while talking about the death of Drew Carey's ex-fiancee, Dr. Amie Harwick.
The well-known sex therapist died after a fall from a balcony allegedly following an attack by her ex-boyfriend. Carey has canceled tapings of "The Price Is Right" as he deals with the emotional fallout of her death. But Williams appeared to make light of it during her show.
First, she made an insensitive comment while describing how Harwick died to her audience, emphasizing that "she was killed. Not by Drew."
She then took it way too far, by many people's standards, by invoking the classic "Price Is Right" phrase "Come on down!" as she first looked up and then down to the floor as if watching something -- or someone -- fall.
This proved even too much for her audience, who gasped audibly when she made her "not by Drew" comment, and met her follow-up joke with groans and dead silence.
As TMZ reported, police were called to Harwick's third-floor home by her roommate, who told them that Harwick's former boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse was assaulting Harwick. She had previously taken out a restraining order against her ex, but it had since expired.
Authorities reportedly found evidence of a struggle and Pursehouse was arrested and booked for murder in connection with Harwick's death. He is being held on $2 million bail.
Carey and Harwick were briefly engaged in 2018 after a year of dating. "Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in a lifetime. She was a positive force in the world, a tireless and unapologetic champion for women, and passionate about her work as a therapist," Drew said in a statement received by TMZ of his ex-fiancee.
He continued, "I am overcome with grief. I would like to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy while we try to work through this tragic situation."
Fans, though, absolutely lit up social media at what they perceived as incredible insensitivity on the part of Williams, who just a few days ago was apologizing for making disparaging comments about the LGBTQ+ community. You can check out their latest outrage below:
So far in 2020 and bearing in mind its only febuary. Wendy Williams has joked about Joaquin Pheonix' cleft lip, told gay men to stop wearing our dresses and now has joked about Drew Careys ex Amie Hardwick dying by falling off a balcony by saying "just get down". Disgraceful! pic.twitter.com/8B7BJZfWXa
I KNOW #WendyWilliams did NOT just make a "come on down" joke about Drew Carey's ex-fiancee getting killed by being thrown off of a third floor balcony !!!! Somebody tell me i heard that wrong, please..but the audience is stone-cold quiet..
I liked @WendyWilliams but today's comment has changed my view. Wendy talked about the murder of Amie Harwick, then commented "Come on down" referring to Drew Carey on The Price is Right, then Wendy looked down to the floor indicating Amie Harwick falling to her death. Disgusting
Wendy Williams is really on a roll these days. The only headlines I see of her relate to making fun of cleft lips, joking about a murder of Drew Carey’s ex, etc. What the heck
WOW @WendyWilliams DOING THAT “COME ON DOWN” WHILE TALKING ABOUT DREW CAREY’S EX GETTING THROWN OFF A BALCONY IS HORRIBLE!! VERY DISGRACEFUL SHE SHOULD BE THROWN OFF THE AIR. YOURE A HORRIBLE PERSON WENDY. VERY POOR TASTE.
#WendyWilliams Youre the prime example of a big mouth disgrace on tv. Your show needs to be cancelled after remarks about Drew Carey’s Ex fiancé’s death. Such a pathetic excuse for a talk show host and if you don’t have a brain to think and say something decent...STFU S.A.B
@WendyWilliams How dare you mock the death of Drew Carey’s ex-girlfriend? You are proving yet again how disgusting you really are. Any “apologies” about this are useless at this point. You can’t redeem yourself now.
So in 1 month, @WendyWilliams made a homophobic joke, a joke about Joaquin Phoenix’s “cleft lip”, and now made a Price is Right joke about Drew Carey’s murdered ex fiancée? When is she FINALLY going to be canceled?
@normmaker You need to get @WendyWilliams in check. Her “come on down” joke in reference to Drew Carey’s ex, @DrAmieHarwick, falling off a balcony to her death was DISGUSTING and not funny in any way, shape or form. Think of her family! #WendyWilliams#AmieHarwick
@WendyWilliams u should be ashamed for saying what u said about Drew’s ex. Have sum effing respect. For others. For her family and loved ones. You are a despicable human being. A complete mess that needs to be canceled.
Former “Love Island” host Caroline Flack had warned police that she would kill herself if charged in an attack on her boyfriend that was so bloody it was said to be “like a horror movie,” according to reports Monday.
The UK celebrity — who died by suicide in her London home on Saturday — was first arrested in December after boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27, accused her of trying to kill him by smashing a lamp over his head.
Burton had called emergency services “almost begging” for help — and officers found the couple covered in so much blood it was “like a horror movie,” The Times of London said, citing previous court testimony.
Flack — who claimed in her memoir that she was once Prince Harry’s “bit of rough” — was seriously wounded after self-harming during the fight, sources told The Sun. She was treated by medics for 12 hours before she was deemed fit enough to be interviewed by officers, the paper says.
When Flack, 40, was being questioned by the police “she said, ‘I did it’” and threatened “that she will kill herself,” the court was previously told, according to the UK Times.
Flack, who had openly discussed her mental health issues, was “terrified” that police bodycam footage — showing her in a state of undress, covered in blood and severely distressed — would be shown in court, a source told The Sun.
The star’s talent agency attacked British prosecutors for continuing with the case “when they knew not only how very vulnerable Caroline was but also that the alleged victim did not support the prosecution.”
Prosecutors “should look at themselves today and how they pursued a show trial that was not only without merit but not in the public interest,” said Francis Ridley of Money Talent Management, saying it also “ultimately resulted in significant distress to Caroline.”
A legal source also told The Sun that Flack “should never have been prosecuted.”
“She should have been given urgent mental health treatment and psychiatric care,” the source insisted.
The Crown Prosecution Service sent its “deepest sympathies” to Flack’s family and friends, but did not comment further, according to London’s Evening Standard.
It jumped to number eight on the US box office chart over the weekend, increasing its ticket sales by 234% to make $5.5m (£4.2m).
Sonic the Hedgehog topped the chart, performing well above expectations.
The adventure comedy took $57m (£44m) on its opening weekend in the US, according to industry analysts Exhibitor Relations, despite pre-release trailers not going down well with critics or the public.
An early trailer for the film, starring Jim Carrey, was poorly received in May, prompting the studio to redesign the title character.
The UK box office mirrored that of the US - with Sonic topping the chart with takings of £4.7 million.
Parasite, which only opened in the UK last weekend, increased its UK takings by 133% after its Oscar wins, earning the movie a further £2.5 million.
The film, from the director Bong Joon-ho, is now enjoying the biggest post-Oscar boost for a best picture winner in the past decade.
It has made $8.8m (£6.7m) since the Oscars on 9 February, and $44m (£34m) since release.
Currently it stands as the fourth most successful international film in US history, behind Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Life is Beautiful and Hero.
"It's a great win for Parasite," said Paul Dergarabedian, a senior media analyst with Comscore, which measures media data.
"This example can put to rest the notion that streaming and the big screen are adversaries. Parasite is doing well on home video and in movie theatres. Both formats can be successful."
Dr. Amie Harwick, a well-known Hollywood sex therapist and former fiancée of comedian Drew Carey, was killed by her ex-boyfriend after a fight at her Los Angeles home, reports said.
Harwick was discovered unresponsive on the ground below a third-story balcony at around 1:16 a.m. Saturday in Hollywood Hills after police were dispatched for reports of a woman screaming, according to CBSLA.
Police said there was “possible evidence of a struggle” and signs of an intruder.
Harwick’s ex-boyfriend, 41-year-old Gareth Pursehouse, was taken into custody and charged with murder, cops said. The pair had recently broken up, according to Deadline.
The report said that detectives “learned that victim had recently expressed fear about a former boyfriend and had previously filed a restraining order” against him.
The restraining order had recently expired.
Harwick, the author of “The New Sex Bible for Women,” was engaged to the “Price is Right” host in 2018. The couple reportedly had an “amicable split.”
