Prince Harry finds new hobby while Meghan Markle is away, insider claims - Fox News

Prince Harry has found an unlikely way to cope with Megxit — playing guitar.

The British royal recently collaborated with Jon Bon Jovi for a re-recording of the rocker’s 2019 single “Unbroken” for the Invictus Games, a charity sporting event for wounded servicemen and women that Harry created and runs.

However, U.K.-based media correspondent Neil Sean told Fox News this won’t be the last time we’ll see the 35-year-old dabbling in music.

“Spies tell me that Harry, who has had a guitar for years and toyed with the idea of learning to play, is now seriously looking at lessons,” Sean explained. “[He and Bon Jovi] discussed how relaxing and stress-free making music can be.

“A mole added, ‘Harry is musical and adores soft rock but always liked the idea of making music as a way to relax,’” Sean continued. “’He has promised Jon it’s now his new hobby. Harry himself is looking at new guitar options.’”

“Could this be his new career after quitting the royals?” Sean added. “Ed Sheeran, watch out.”

A royal insider also told Sean that bonding with Bon Jovi over music was especially important for Harry.

“Harry revealed to a mole his late mother Diana was a huge Jon Bon Jovi fan back in the day and he too loves their music,” said Sean.

Bon Jovi, 57, recently spoke about his upcoming project with the Duke of Sussex on “The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky.”

“[Prince Harry] said yes and stuck now to it, so we’re doing it,” Bon Jovi said. “I’m gonna hand him a tambourine and see what he’s got going."

“My idea and letter to him at the time was, ‘I’d like to give you the single,’” the singer shared. "I would love to give something back to the people you care [about] … but I want them to be the singers.

“It’s the ‘We Are the World’ for this song. I’ve got 12 veterans. They’ll sing the chorus to the existing track, which I did, and then it’ll be on the new record.”

He added, “We’ll release it as a single here in time for their games and hopefully raise them some money.”

At the time, Bon Jovi admitted that he wasn’t sure how to address the royal since he announced he and wife Meghan Markle decided to step back as senior members of the royal family.

“I’ve been asking, ‘What do I do? How do I address him?’ And then I realized I’m gonna call him ‘The Artist Formerly Known as Prince,'” the Grammy winner joked.

Sean said Harry has been enjoying the musical perk amid the royal drama surrounding Megxit.

“The Duke of Sussex’s difficult extraction as a member of the British royal family has been no easy ride so far,” he explained. “But… he did get to enjoy [the] perk.

“The Prince met with Bon Jovi outside the famous Abbey Road Studios,” Sean shared. “The two then went into the control room overlook Studio 2, where the Beatles recorded during the 1960s all those iconic tunes that people adore today, and shared a quick duet in front of the studio’s microphones.”

However, it won’t be all playtime for Harry much longer. He, along with his wife, is set to publicly reunite with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall for Commonwealth Day on Monday, March 9, Buckingham Palace confirmed. The British royals will be at Westminster Abbey for the annual service.

The two couples attended last year’s service when Markle, 38, was in her third trimester of pregnancy.

JON BON JOVI TEASES PRINCE HARRY MUSIC COLLABORATION: 'WE'RE DOING IT'

The American actress will be joining her husband later this week after spending more than a month on Vancouver Island in Canada. The couple, as well as their son Archie, have been living there since announcing their decision to step back as senior members of the royal family. They have said they intend on splitting their time between North America and the U.K.

Numerous sources have long insisted tensions started brewing between the brothers when Harry revealed he wanted to marry Markle after less than a year of dating. When William cautioned Harry that the whirlwind romance was moving too quickly, Harry reportedly became angry and hurt.

William dated Middleton, his college sweetheart, for about eight years before tying the knot in 2011.

Harry hinted at the ongoing rift between him and his older brother in the ITV documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey,” which aired in October 2019.

“Inevitably stuff happens,” explained the British royal. “But we’re brothers, we’ll always be brothers. We’re certainly on different paths at the moment. I’ll always be there for him and as I know, he’ll always be there for me. We don’t see each other as much as we used to because we’re so busy, but I love him dearly."

PRINCE HARRY RETURNS TO UK FOR FINAL ROUND OF ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS, REQUESTS TO ONLY BE CALLED 'HARRY'

“The majority of stuff is created out of nothing,” added Harry. “As brothers, we have good days and we have bad days.”

In January, the brothers formed a united front to deny a report that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s behavior played a role in Harry and Markle’s decision to “step back” from their royal duties.

In a statement on behalf of both princes released by the palace, the brothers denied reports from a U.K. newspaper that Harry and Markle felt pushed out of the royal family by William and Middleton.

In a statement confirmed by Fox News, the brothers said: “Despite clear denials, a false story ran in a UK newspaper today speculating about the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and The Duke of Cambridge. For brothers who care so deeply about the issues surrounding mental health, the use of inflammatory language in this way is offensive and potentially harmful.”

The rebuke came in response to a story published by The Times of London that stated that Harry and Markle came to their historic decision to step back from their royal duties and become financially independent from the crown after two years of being “bullied” and “told their place” by William, Middleton and other senior royals.

Harvey Weinstein moved to jail after having heart surgery - BBC News

Harvey Weinstein has been moved to Rikers Island jail in New York City after undergoing heart surgery.

The ex-movie mogul was convicted last month of two sexual assaults, including rape, at his trial on 25 February.

After the trial, he complained of chest pains and was taken to hospital where he had a stent implant to remove a blockage, a spokesperson said.

He is due to be sentenced on 11 March, and faces up to 25 years in prison for the convictions relating to two women.

Weinstein was cleared of the most serious counts of predatory sexual assault and first-degree rape. But he was found guilty of third-degree rape and a first-degree criminal sexual act. His lawyers say he will appeal.

Many of Weinstein's accusers, along with other critics, had expressed frustration at the news of his hospital transfer, arguing that he should be held in jail.

His lawyers told local media that neither he nor they had any power over the decision.

"It was a New York City Department of Corrections decision, that that was the most suitable place for a 67-year-old man with a laundry list of illnesses who went from being in a walker to being in a wheelchair," lawyer Arthur Aidala told The Hollywood Reporter.

The former movie executive still faces charges in Los Angeles of assaulting two women in 2013, and there are other cases under review.

In December 2019, lawyers said they reached a tentative $25m (£19m) deal with some accusers.

In all, at least 80 women had accused him of sexual misconduct stretching back decades, including actresses Gwyneth Paltrow, Uma Thurman and Salma Hayek. Most of those complaints, however, have not led to criminal charges, as they are beyond the statute of limitations - meaning they happened too long ago.

The allegations were at the centre of the #MeToo movement that prompted women to go public with misconduct allegations against powerful men.

The movie executive once enjoyed phenomenal success with Oscar winners such Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting, The King's Speech and Shakespeare in Love.

What did the trial deal with?

Weinstein - who denied all charges - was convicted of sexually assaulting former production assistant Mimi Haleyi in 2006 and raping Jessica Mann, a former aspiring actress, in 2013. The judge ordered him sent to jail immediately.

A third-degree rape charge in New York is defined as engaging in sexual intercourse with a person who is incapable of consent, or under age 17, or who has not given consent for a reason other than the inability to consent.

Prosecutors portrayed Weinstein as a serial predator who used his position of power in Hollywood to manipulate and attack women.

The defence team said sex between the movie executive and the accusers was consensual, and that the accusers simply wanted to advance their careers.

The allegations amounted to "regret renamed as rape", the defence said. Two of the accusers kept in contact with Weinstein and had sex with him after the alleged attacks, they pointed out.

How 'Grey's Anatomy' bid farewell to Justin Chambers - CNN

Dr. Alex Karev has officially done his last shift on "Grey's Anatomy."
The sudden departure of actor Justin Chambers from the show left the writers of the series in a predicament and with the herculean task of bringing to conclusion the story of a character who's been with the long-running drama since the beginning.
So, how'd they do it?
Short answer: letters, voiceover and lots of stock footage.
The long answer: After going MIA several episodes ago, this week's episode began with four characters -- Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Jo (Camilla Luddington), Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Richard (James Pickens Jr.) -- receiving letters from Alex.
In them, he explained that he was not returning to his job or former life because he was now living with Izzie (Katherine Heigl).
Yes, Izzie, the doctor to whom he was once married and hasn't been seen on the show since Season 6.
Alex explained that when Meredith needed the backing of past patients and colleagues to ensure she didn't lose her medical license, one of the calls he placed was to Izzie. In their phone conversation, he learned that Izzie was now living in Kansas, a surgical oncologist and a mother of two -- and the children were his.
Back when Izzie was going through cancer treatments, she and Alex, who were married at the time, froze some embryos in case they wanted to have children in the future.
After meeting his children for the first time, Alex couldn't imagine being anywhere else (or, apparently, find the spine to say goodbye to his wife in person).
Chambers nor Heigl appeared in the episode. Though, Chambers voiced the contents of the letters.
Chambers's departure from "Grey's Anatomy" was announced in January. At the time, it was also reported that the actor had made his last physical appearance on the show. But Showrunner Krisa Vernoff assured last month that the character's story was not done.
It does seem to be now, however. At least until the characters remember it's 2020 and Facetime exists.

Listen to Demi Lovato’s New Song “I Love Me” - Pitchfork

Demi Lovato is back with her new single “I Love Me.” Have a listen to the new song below.

Earlier this year, Lovato returned to music with the new single “Anyone.” She premiered the song with a performance at the Grammy Awards. “I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction,” she said in a statement at the time. “What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have no done yet.”

Lovato also sang the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl.

The 'Love Is Blind' reunion is here and it's shocking - CNN

The streaming service's reality dating series, which followed Atlanta-based singles dating people they've never seen in person, was a huge hit.
Here are some of the best shockers from the reunion special.
Damian Powers and Giannina Gibelli are actually together after he broke up with her at the altar. Gibelli had said "I do," but Powers did not, leaving Gibelli to run away from the wedding venue in her dress.
At the reunion, Gibelli explains why the explosive couple are together today.
"Looking back, I respect his decision," she says at the reunion. "Where we are now is so right for us. He has his own place, I have mine, we're getting to know each other at our own pace. It hurt so much, but it's about what can I do with that, what can I learn from that."
Powers said the decision to walk away was awful, but that he's happy the two are together now.
"That was the hardest decision I probably ever made in my life, honestly," he says, but adds he "would stick by it again, because of where we are now."
Amber Pike and Matt Barnett, known as Barnett on the show, both said "I do" on the show, and were married in the finale. It hasn't all been newlywed bliss, however. Pike reveals the two almost divorced when things got tough.
"There was one point where we almost broke up because we had such expectations," she said.
Pike reveals she called a divorce lawyer at one point because Barnett was partying like he was single.
They say they're working on things and are together as of now.
Pike also went after Jessica Batten, who was flirting with Barnett after he popped the question to Pike.
The show's villain Carlton Morton addresses that nasty fight with Diamond Jack, where he made fun of her physical appearance, leaving her in tears. Morton had waited until the two met outside the pods to tell Jack he was bisexual, and she felt betrayed.
Morton explained that he felt remorseful, and wishes he had been upfront with Jack earlier.
"I would have done whatever it takes to be sitting on the couch as happy as these people," he said of the rest of the cast.
The two made peace and agreed to be friends.
After a highly-anticipated season finale, Nick and Vanessa bring the cast of Love is Blind back together for the first time to spill the tea and come clean on the season's juiciest moments. All of your burning questions will be answered in this can't-miss episode. Which couples are still together? What was it REALLY like to watch this unfold all over again? Do they have any regrets? Answers to those questions and more unexpected twists and revelations from the whole experiment explained from the couples who lived it!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H-a52FoRQQ
Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton are the most successful couple to come out of the dating experiment. The two are happily married, living together, and have adopted a puppy together.
But it was revealed on the reunion that Powers (now dating Gibelli) went on a date every day with Speed before she was engaged.
The special, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, dropped Thursday on Netflix.

Nokia will announce its new phone in a James Bond trailer - Engadget

HMD Global

When the latest James Bond flick, No Time to Die, hits theatres this April November, you'll likely see not-so-subtle shots of Nokia's latest slate of phones. You'll also get the chance to see the company's first 5G phone in a commercial Nokia brand owner HMD Global plans to release on March 8th.

No Time to Die

The advert will feature Lashana Lynch's character, 00 agent Nomi, completing a mission with the help of the company's new phone, which HMD Global plans to detail on March 19th. Besides its new 5G-capable phone, HMD Global says we can expect to see the Nokia 7.2 and 3310 make appearances in the upcoming movie. What the company hasn't said yet is if 007 himself will use a Nokia phone.

If you've followed the Daniel Craig's run as the super spy, this shouldn't come as a surprise. Ahead of the release of Spectre in 2015, Sony wanted to pay Craig $5 million to pose for photos with the company's Xperia Z4 phone in hand. Craig, however, wasn't too keen on the idea, and was famously paraphrased in a leaked email as saying, "James Bond only uses the 'best...' the Sony phone is not the 'best.'"

If Craig does end up using a Nokia phone in No Time to Die, it would be -- at least as far as phones are concerned -- a fitting conclusion to his tenure as James Bond. In his first outing as 007, 2006's Casino Royale, Craig used a Nokia 8800. With No Time to Die slated to be his fifth and final outing, it would be a bit like the hero coming home to the place where it all started.
