Eva Amurri Shares Family Photo with Ex Kyle Martino After Son’s Birth: ‘We Are All so in Love’ - Yahoo Entertainment

Eva Amurri and Kyle Martino are celebrating the arrival of their third child.

The actress, 34, and her estranged husband welcomed son Mateo Antoni Martino on Friday, and although Martino wasn’t physically present during their child’s birth, afterwards they spent some quality time together as a family.

“Our sweet little boy came Earthside yesterday, peacefully at Home,” Amurri wrote on Instagram Saturday, alongside a trio of photos that showed her and Martino in bed with their newborn as well as his big brother Major James, 3, and sister Marlowe Mae, 5½.

Amurri went on to share that their son’s birth was “bright, fast & beautiful” and that the whole family was over the moon about its newest addition.

“We are all SO in love,” she added. “Mateo Antoni Martino 3.13.20, 7lbs 11oz, 21inches.”

In his own celebratory post, Martino wrote: “Our family has grown!! It’s with full hearts we introduce Mateo Antoni Martino to the world. Mama was a rockstar bringing this incredible gift into the world. #ModernMartinoFamily ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Amurri first announced that she and the NBC sports analyst and former athlete had welcomed Mateo in a newsletter for her lifestyle website Happily Eva After.

“Kyle, Marlowe, Major, and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our littlest love: Mateo Antoni Martino,” she wrote in the newsletter. “He arrived safely & sweetly at home, March 13th at 3:58pm, weighing 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long.”

“Our hearts are so full!” she added. “Thank you for the well wishes, and I look forward to sharing more soon!”

Amurri and Martino announced her pregnancy in September, about two months before revealing their decision to split after eight years of marriage.

“We are committed to, and excited about, raising our three beautiful children as close friends and deep partners, and we have the utmost respect for one another,” they wrote in identical Instagram posts at the time.

Since then, both have been open about the challenges of co-parenting while also frequently coming together for the holidays — with Martino even penning a sweet tribute to Amurri for Valentine’s Day.

“I thought today was gonna be really hard, and in some ways it is. But today I feel our unbreakable love for one another. I’m proud of us for protecting that and modeling what love is for our children,” he wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of Amurri and their children.

Shortly before their son’s birth, the daughter of actress Susan Sarandon wrote a blog post about why having Martino in the room when their son was born “wasn’t going to feel right,” explaining that their “intimacy level has totally changed now that we aren’t a couple.”

“To really let go and allow labor to progress (especially with a home birth) it’s so important to feel completely at ease in your body and support,” Amurri said, noting that while he wouldn’t be present for the actual birth, Martino would get a chance to “meet his son directly after he’s born” — a decision they “both feel good about.”

Amurri previously wrote in a September blog post that while “the idea of more than two [kids]” had “always seemed completely overwhelming to me,” everything happens for a reason.

She went on to explain that when they decided to start trying and “immediately” got pregnant, “it was exactly the sign I needed that this child was always meant to be a part of our family.”

“There is one thing that my journey to motherhood has taught me for sure, though, which is that you are given the children you were always meant to have … exactly when you are meant to have them,” Amurri continued.

ABC Executive Rob Mills Addresses All the Drama That Was Left out of 'The Bachelor' Finale - Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Peter Weber’s Bachelor season wrapped up earlier this week and fans still aren’t over all the drama that went down. There was a lot going on.

Front-runner Madison Prewett went home on her own accord. Weber proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss. The two ended their engagement after Weber admitted he couldn’t give his full heart to the young model. Prewett flew to Los Angeles to rekindle things with the pilot. And, of course, Barb was there to sneer at it all.

After the finale aired, fans felt there were perhaps missing pieces of the puzzle. Clearly, a lot took place in the days of the finale and following. There’s no way production could include it all.

Why ‘The Bachelor’ didn’t show that Madison Prewett made the Webers wait three hours

ABC Executive Rob Mills recently told The Hollywood Reporter why The Bachelor didn’t show Prewett making the Webers wait for three hours.

“The real story was about — can Peter and Madison overcome this obstacle that they had? Which had to do with the Fantasy Suites. And Madison’s choices and Peter’s choices. [Prewett, due to her faith, is saving herself for marriage and gave Weber a sex ultimatum.] You are kind of going into a convoluted are there where it’s like, ‘Well, she kept us waiting for three hours.’ We don’t have a ton of time, so you have to get as much of the spirit of what happened as possible,” said Mills.

He continued: “And you certainly understood that it was not the best family visit. I think you can overcome, ‘we were waiting.’ I think that was sort of an entrĂ©e. I think their lives are very different and I think she’s not going to bend maybe as much as Hannah Ann would, so [Barb] preferred Hannah Ann to her. It was much more concise to have Barb say, ‘We waited three hours and had been jet-lagged and I felt that she should have been more apologetic about it.’ I don’t think we really needed to show that.”

How much the producers intervened in Peter Weber’s proposal to Hannah Ann Sluss

THR also asked about the drama that took place around the proposal. Sluss wasn’t even sure if she was going to show up. And Weber wasn’t exactly sure about what he wanted to do, either.

“How much do the producers intervene there to make the proposal happen?” the publication asked.

“This was a really long journey for everyone, as you saw. There were obstacles for everyone involved at every turn. So I think it was just exhaustion. You are sort of in the last mile of a marathon. At this point, for the producers, there’s nothing you can do. It’s the end and everyone’s mind is sort of made up,” he said.

“Hannah Ann is thinking, ‘Am I going to accept a proposal? Can I do that? Has this just been too much?’ You can be there to talk it out, but I don’t think you are really pushing things one way or the other,” Mills continued.

Rita Wilson finds solace in humour during isolation after contracting coronavirus - The News International

After contracting coronavirus, Rita Wilson took on the tense situation in a light-hearted manner

Tom Hanks and wife and actor Rita Wilson may have unleashed a wave of distress amongst fans after testing positive for the coronavirus, but the two are still tackling the situation with bouts of positivity.

Turning to Twitter, the 63-year-old Mamma Mia actor let her fans breathe a sigh of relief after taking on the tense situation in a light-hearted manner.

“From here on out, the only Corona I want is from Mexico and you drink it,” she tweeted, referencing the Corona beer in Mexico.

Rita was also seen relishing The Daily Show host Trevor Noah’s humorous monologue about her and husband Tom Hanks’s diagnosis of COVID-19.

“Thank you for the best laugh of the day!!! You’re awesome @Trevornoah,” she tweeted.

Earlier, in a social media post to fans, Tom said the couple "want to thank everyone here Down Under who are taking such good care of us. We have Covid-19 and are in isolation so we do not spread it to anyone else."

"There are those for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time," he added.

The post was accompanied by a photo of the couple wearing casual clothes and baseball caps, looking relaxed.

WrestleMania 36 at Risk of Being Canceled by Hillsborough County in Florida - Bleacher Report

Hillsborough County Commissioner Les Miller told Fox 13 Tampa Bay that he will probably have to "pull the plug" on WrestleMania 36 if the WWE doesn't decide to do so itself in light of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“I’m hoping that Vince McMahon and WrestleMania and WWE make the call themselves but a week from now, if they've not done that and we’re still in the situation we're in, we'll probably have to pull the plug on that," Miller said.

The event is slated to take place on Sunday, April 5, at Tampa Bay's Raymond James Stadium, the home of the NFL's Buccaneers. Per Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com, over 70,000 people were expected to attend.

Raimondi asked the WWE for comment and was referred to a statement the promotion released Thursday:

"While we remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, we are putting contingency plans in place in the event that it is cancelled by government officials, civil authorities and/or local venues. The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay."

Sports and entertainment organizations are canceling or postponing seasons and/or events en masse in response to the coronavirus pandemic, with few exceptions.

Right now, the WWE is one of them, although it moved its top two televised shows (Monday Night Raw and SmackDown) to its performance center in Orlando, Florida, without fans in the building.

As for WrestleMania, the show is currently scheduled to go on, but pressure is building to nix the event in Tampa.

"I commend every sports franchise for erring on the side of caution," Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said. "I hope the WWE follows suit. I don't ever want to see people put profit over public safety."

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis also emphasized mass gatherings over the next 30 days should likely be canceled, per Lawrence Mower of the Tampa Bay Times.

WrestleMania 36 currently has five matches on its card, including a WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Drew McIntyre.

Disney Suspends Film Production Amid Coronavirus Concerns - Hollywood Reporter

Peter Pan & Wendy as well as Shrunk, a sequel to 1980s classic Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, both in pre-production, are also delayed.

The movies in production shutting down include Home Alone, Ridley Scott’s period drama The Last Duel and Guillermo del Toro’s thriller Nightmare Alley, being made for Searchlight. Production on Marvel’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings was already halted after director Destin Daniel Cretton self-isolated.

"While there have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 on our productions, after considering the current environment and the best interests of our cast and crew, we have made the decision to pause production on some of our live-action films for a short time," said a Disney spokesperson in a statement. "We will continue to assess the situation and restart as soon as feasible.”

The move comes one day after Disney delayed upcoming releases Mulan (March 27), as well as New Mutants (April 3 via 20th Century Studios) and the Guillermo del Toro-produced Antlers (April 17 via Searchlight Pictures). The studio also has Black Widow (May 1) and Artemis Fowl (May 29) still on the calendar.
